Use of paracord bracelet

Paracord bracelet can be used as a fashion accessory or as a tool for survival in the wilderness. It consists of four metres of paracord 550 rope which is distinguished by it’s capacity, durability and general usefulness.

Necessities:

To make paracord bracelet you will need:

  • Approximately four meters of Paracord 550 (two different colors to make two-color ParaCord bracelet)
  • Lighter
  • Knife or scissors

Making Paracord bracelet by steps:

Step 1

Cut the appropriate length of the paracord. The length of the rope should be slightly longer then the diameter of your wrist.

Make a knot at the end of the rope as shown in the picture bellow. The distance between the knot and the beginning of the rope should be slightly longer then the diameter of your wrist.

Step 3

To make two-color bracelet merge two different color paracords together. You can do this by heating up the ends of two different color paracords and sqeezing them together. When cooled down two ropes are merged. Watch not to burn yourself. Total length of the rope should be around four meters.

Put the longer merged rope under the shorter rope with knot as shown in the picture.

Step 5

Start with the beginning knot as shown in the picture.

Make the first knot as shown in the pictures bellow.

Make the second knot as shown in the pictures bellow.

Step 8

Make the first knot again (step 6) and after that the second knot again (step 7). Continue with this procedure till you approach the end of your paracord bracelet.

Step 9

At the end of the paracord bracelet leave space for the loop which will be used for fastening you paracord bracelet.

Now you only have to cut out the excess cords and your paracord bracelet is finished
